Reflexology works on the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to organs and systems throughout the body. Your therapist begins with a warm foot soak, then applies graded thumb and finger pressure across the sole, arch, heel and toes, finishing with the lower calf. You stay fully clothed and seated in a reclining chair.
You will be shown to a private room with an attached shower. Tell your therapist at the start where you are carrying tension and whether you want light, medium or firm pressure — and say so any time during the session if you want it changed. Fresh linen, towels and disposable undergarments are provided for every guest.
